PURPOSE

Based on the company's core values, the code of conduct of BILK Logisztikai Zrt. defines the ethical behaviour expected of employees and encourages those involved to maintain and strengthen the company's reputation and image.

SCOPE

The values ​​formulated in the Code of Conduct and the observance of the rules related to them apply to all employees and business partners of BILK Logisztikai Zrt. Managers are responsible for developing and maintaining a culture of ethical operation within the company.

 

COMPLIANCE, LIABILITY

Compliance with legal regulations
BILK Logisztikai Zrt. expects all its employees and partners to act in compliance with the currently applicable legal regulations and the ethical rules set out in this Code of Ethics. The employees of the company are obliged to act in accordance with the basic interests of the company and in accordance with the principles defined in its mission.

Liability
All employees of BILK Logisztikai Zrt. are personally responsible for complying with the legal, professional and ethical rules applicable to their jobs and level of responsibility.

FAIR TRADE PRACTICES

Fair business relationship with competitors and partners
BILK employees maintain their relationship with the company's customers and partners on the grounds of trust and fair dealing The decisions of our employees must not be influenced by private interests and personal goals.

Conflicts of interest, incompatibility
BILK Logisztikai Zrt. expects all its employees and partners to act in compliance with the currently applicable legal regulations and the ethical rules set out in this Code of Ethics. The employees of the company are obliged to act in accordance with the basic interests of the company and in accordance with the principles defined in its mission.

Authentic financial statements
Events affecting the company's operations and business must be reported immediately and in full in order for the company's financial statements to give a complete, accurate and true picture of the business transactions and the company's financial position.

Property, intellectual property
All employees of the BILK Logisztikai Zrt. are responsible for the company’s property and assets, which they must use, preserve and manage for the benefit of the company.

Insider trading
Our company’s management prohibits insider trading, i.e., the illegal use of non-public company information for the purpose of obtaining individual benefits. Insider trading is trading in securities or other listed products on the basis of non-public information, regardless of whether the information was obtained from an internal source or from a third party.

Data protection, information policy
Respect for the confidential data of partners and employees and data protection regulations is a priority for BILK Logisztikai Zrt.

1. GENERAL RULES FOR EMPLOYMENT

Equal opportunities and respect
No one at the company may benefit, be disadvantaged because of their race or ethnic origin, skin colour, religion or belief, origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, marital status, pregnancy, childbirth or related health condition, genetic characteristics, because of their membership of an interest representation organisation or related activities. Exceptions are positive discriminations regulated by law.

Confidentiality, confidential information
Information obtained about the company must be kept confidential and may only be used lawfully to carry out its tasks. All data and information obtained during the work is the property of the company.

Confidential information
Employees are required to maintain the confidentiality of information owned by the company and to refrain from obtaining confidential information from other companies illegally. Information considered confidential by the company may not be shared with third parties or used for personal purposes. This obligation applies not only to the duration of the employment relationship, but also to the period specified in the employment contract after the termination thereof. BILK Logisztikai Zrt. also expects its partners to keep confidential the company information that came to their knowledge during the business relationship.

Information about employees, such as career, income, or personal circumstances, is also confidential.

No harassment
The company strictly prohibits all forms of violence, intimidation or harassment. Any form of these, such as racial or sexual, is completely unacceptable and it is the responsibility of the management to handle the cases that arise properly.
It is the employee's responsibility to take action in the event of any form of violent actions described above and to report the incident to their immediate supervisor, the competent director, or the ethics board.

Protection of human rights, prohibition of forced and child labour
BILK Logistikai Zrt supports and respects the protection of internationally declared human rights. Accordingly, we expect the Company's employees to respect human rights as defined in relevant international conventions, laws and regulations.
Our company condemns child labour and other forms of exploitation of children and minorities; it does not use any forced, slave, or child labour, and does not accept such activity from any of its partners.

Health and safety
The company provides safe and healthy working conditions for its employees. It regularly monitors working conditions at its facilities and takes corrective actions if necessary. In its operation, it takes into account all technological and ecological directives relevant to its activities, and supports the adoption of standards with stricter requirements.

Freedom of association, advocacy
The company does not restrict the employees’ right to freedom of association and right to collective agreement.

Activities of political organisations
The employees of the company respect each other's worldview and political convictions, but they can only perform such activities strictly as private individuals, deliberately refraining from expressing their opinion as the position of the company. It is prohibited to make any offer or incur a cost for any political purpose on behalf of the company unless expressly authorised by the Company's management. Employees are prohibited from engaging in personal political activities during working hours or using the Company’s property or assets for such purposes.

Working hours and wages
BILK Logistikai Zrt complies with the regulations on working hours, including overtime. It provides fair wages to its employees, taking into account and balancing the competitive environment, the long-term stable operation of the company and the expectations of the employees.

 

PROTECTION OF GOOD REPUTATION

Statement on behalf of the company
The Company expects all employees to take the interests of the Company into account in the course of their work; represent its values ​​and act accordingly; in the absence of appropriate power or authorisation, not to communicate on behalf of the Company, not to disclose, or communicate to a third party company position or information; to communicate in a targeted manner within the framework of their professional knowledge and job responsibilities in issues related to the Company and their own work.

Social media
It is forbidden to display any offensive statements or communications on the social media pages that infringe the interests of BILK Logistikai Zrt.

 

OFFICIAL AND PARTNER RELATIONS

Competitors, fair competition
The company operates in accordance with the standards of fair competition and the applicable competition rules. It collects information about its competitors only lawfully and uses only publicly disclosed resources to understand business, consumer, supplier and technology trends, legislative proposals, and actions by suppliers and competitors. The company will only obtain this information in a lawful and fair manner.

Civil society, local communities
The company contributes to economic growth and the improvement of living standards in the area in which it operates. It is committed to social donation and sponsorship free of corruption and bribery. BILK Logistikai Zrt provides the public with complete, comprehensible and authentic information about its own activities and intentions through all media.

Environment, Health and Safety
The company contributes to sustainable development. In its business policy, it enforces the aspects of increased protection of the environment and health. In the course of its operations, it complies with and enforces with the applicable environmental and technological regulations with its subcontractors.

 

QUESTIONS, NOTIFICATIONS, EVALUATION

Reporting violations
If an employee of our company, our contracted employee or business partner becomes aware of an act that violates the provisions of the Code of Conduct of BILK Logisztikai Zrt, or finds themselves in a decision situation in which they are uncertain about the ethical procedure, immediately notify the company by e-mail at bilk@bilk.hu.

Operation and evaluation of the Code of Conduct
The management of the company acts with uniform responsibility for the fulfilment of the contents of the Code of Conduct. The company manages its Code of Conduct in a transparent manner, and all its employees and business partners are free to learn about it, make suggestions or comment on it. Therefore, the Code of Conduct is available in printed and electronic form, as well as on the company's website (www.bilk.hu).
